We wish to inform you that, following the submission of your resume, in order to assess the possibility of transforming your application into an employment/service relationship and in compliance with Article 13 of European Regulation No. 679 of 2016 (the “Privacy Regulation”), IHI Charging Systems International S.p.A, as a potential employer/client, collects and processes your personal data (as the “Data Subject”) and, where applicable, the personal data of your family members.
Please note that with regard to the selection process, subject to your specific consent, IHI Charging Systems International S.p.A may process personal data that the Privacy Code defines as “sensitive” and the Privacy Regulation as “special” in that it is suitable for revealing, for example, a general state of health or specific conditions (e.g., physical problems, allergies, membership of protected categories, and degree of disability) necessary to assess suitability for certain tasks or the possibility of the Data Subject being hired as a member of a protected category.
1. Data Controller, Data Processors, and Data Protection Officer

The updated list of Data Processors, where designated, can be provided at the request of the Data Subject. If a Data Protection Officer is appointed (pursuant to Article 37 of the Privacy Regulation), their identification details will be disclosed by publishing them, supplementing this policy.
2. Purposes and methods of processing
The provision of personal data is optional, but without it, the Data Controller will not be able to verify the possibility of establishing an employment relationship with the data subject.
The personal data of the data subject is processed, as part of the normal personnel selection activities of the Data Controller, to verify the possibility of transforming your application into an actual employment/service relationship. Special categories of data (general health or specific conditions, such as membership of protected categories and degree of disability) are processed as part of the assessment of suitability for certain tasks or the possibility of the data subject being hired as a member of a protected category. In relation to these purposes, the processing of personal data is carried out by persons specifically appointed, authorized, and trained to process data in accordance with Articles 28 and 29 of the Privacy Regulation, as well as by external parties (e.g., personnel selection companies, external consultants for the processing of salary and contribution data, etc.), who may qualify as independent Data Controllers or be designated in writing as Data Processors; in any case, the processing will be carried out using manual, computerized, and telematic tools, with the use of data processing tools and/or data processing systems, who may assume the status of independent Data Controllers or be designated in writing as Data Processors; in any case, the processing will be carried out using manual, computerized, and telematic tools, with logic strictly related to the purposes and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the confidentiality and security of personal data and in full and absolute compliance with current legislation on the subject.
3. Legal basis for processing
The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject; necessary to fulfill the obligations and exercise the specific rights of the Data Controller or the Data Subject in the field of labor law and social security and social protection (pursuant to Article 9, paragraph 2, letter b of the Privacy Regulation).
4. To whom and in what context we may transmit the personal data of the data subject
In relation to the purposes of the processing indicated above, and within the limits strictly relevant to them, your personal data will or may be communicated in Italy or, in case of business necessity, to the parent company IHI Corporation in Japan.
a) to all parties involved in any way in the recruitment process aimed at establishing an employment/service relationship, appointed and instructed in writing in accordance with the law by the Data Controller in accordance with the procedures set out in the company job descriptions;
b) to external consultants called upon to carry out the aforementioned activities, who may act as data processors or independent data controllers.
A detailed and constantly updated list of these subjects, with an indication of their respective locations, is always available at the Data Controller's headquarters.
Your personal data will not be disclosed.
5. The rights of the data subject
To obtain a detailed and constantly updated list of the subjects to whom the data subject's personal data may be communicated and to exercise the rights referred to in Articles 15 et seq. of the Privacy Regulation, the data subject may contact privacy@ihi-csi.it.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can protect yourself by lodging a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
6. Security measures
All processing is carried out using appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, in accordance with the procedures set out in Articles 5 et seq. and 32 et seq. of the Regulation, as well as the relevant provisions of the Data Protection Authority.
In this regard, we confirm, among other things, the adoption of appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, theft, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the data subject's data.
7. Duration of processing
In accordance with Article 5(e) of the Regulation, the personal data being processed will be stored for the time strictly necessary in relation to the purposes set out above and, in any case, for a period not exceeding 24 months.
